The Applicant agrees that his or her participation in the masterclass of operatic singing will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Maestro or the Masterclass manager, attending all meetings, classes, rehearsals and performances of the course are expected, except those specifically denoted as optional.
2. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Maestro or the Masterclass manager, arriving in good time for every meeting, class, rehearsal or performance is expected. This is defined as being in the relevant place at least five minutes before the scheduled starting time.
3. Unless prior special conditions have been mentioned in overview of the Opera Singers' Masterclass, you are expected to prepare all the works listed for the course programme and be ready to sing pieces according either to the course schedule or the request of tutors.
4. You are expected to maintain a friendly and respectful attitude at all times towards Maestro, the Masterclass manager, orchestra staff and personnel and other participants.
5. Any Participant will in every other respect be considered a full member of the class, with full rights of participation and discussion within class time.
6. Any Participant will be withdrawn entirely without any form of fee compensation in case of the violation of social norms or appearing in lessons or rehearsals within class time under the influence of alcoholic or drug intoxication.
7. Any Applicant can choose the form of tuition for the masterclass: Active participant - attending all individual lessons, all rehearsals and the performance or Auditor -without individual lessons or the performance.
8. Any Active Participant who has successfully passed all the lessons and showed himself of a sufficient singing level will participate at the Final concert/ performance. The concert program will be divided between Participants. All Active Participants involved in the concert will perform without remuneration.
10. All participants are expected to purchase and study their scores prior to the start of the course.
13. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Maestro, all lessons are open for the attendance of Participants.
14. Masterclass fees and payments:
Each masterclass has its specific payment conditions, described in the overview of the masterclass.
• Daily Auditors' price - € 35 per day ( € 15/day- a special price for students of Opera singing faculties )
• 25% of the participant fee have to be paid as a deposit via bank transfer during a week after confirmation of your participation in the course. Participants have to pay all banking services.
• The rest of the Participant fee has to be paid via bank transfer by one week before the masterclass or in cash at 1st day of the masterclass.
• 100% of the deposit should be paid by the first day of the masterclass.
15. The deposit is 100% refundable only in the case of cancellation of the masterclass by the organizer.
16. The Applicant will be accepted as a Participant of the masterclass if he/she has made all payments due before the 1st day of the masterclass.
17. Provided that the above conditions are met, a Certificate of participation will be provided for all Participants who have completed the masterclass.
