Mark Pinzow biography:
Born in New York, Mark Pinzow earned his Bachelor of Music degree from McGill University and a Diploma in conducting from the Conservatoire du Quebec in Montreal, Canada. He has been a repetitor and conductor in many opera houses, including those in Braunschweig and Flensburg in Germany and in Linz, Austria. Mark served as Studienleiter at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken, Oper Leipzig, Oper Frankfurt, det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen and Narodni Divadlo in Prague. He has worked as assistant conductor at Komische Oper in Berlin and Opera de la Bastille in Paris. In the past few years he worked as a coach at the Wiener Staatsoper. He currently works as Vocal Coach at the National Opera Prague, National Opera Brno and teaches at HAMU in Prague. He was assistant to Jiri Kout for 13 years and speaks English, German, French, Italian, Danish and Czech.
